Flesh out the alternative names (like beer or pizza etc) so they change the other text and things to match the new name. Maybe limited to a few more common ones to reduce the workload required?
the features need to be uniform as across the whole site, it looks tacky if it buy me some pizza here and then buy me a coffee another part of the site.
It'd be great if personal trainers could use Buy Me A Smoothie too :)
@Alex Sherwood: I want that!
@Jijo Sunny (founder): just saw this, and it's look great! There doesn't seem to be any way to have a pizza on the button generator tho :(
@Jijo Sunny (founder): can you make a option where we can trade out the coffee cup on the buttons? Also remove the A because somethings sound better if you say give us some toast not buy me a toast..
exactly!!! This is one of the reasons why I don't use the custom names even though I would love to. The rest of the page won't match with the name, and it looks really jarring that way
Ohh, and can this include adding a buymeapizza link as well? You already have buymeateaa and buymeabeer, so why not buymeapizza?
@Lizonka | Beta Reader for Hire: true
It's a great idea, but we've seen at least fifty variations 😄figured it's best to keep it custom.
We really like @Arthur's idea to change the pictures according to the names. I'll explore that with the designer too!
@Jijo Sunny (founder): Maybe you can include a list of icons/emojis that users can choose from to represent the name
@Lizonka | Beta Reader for Hire: we considered that for a while, but the emojis didn't fit that well with the layout. I'll bring this up again with the designers though. Thanks!
As an addition, change these pictures according to the names. Some standard / much used names would be a great start. Beer or pizza as were mentioned above.
@Arthur: good idea!
Or just allow 'custom names' to suit people's use case
@SIDDHESH RANE: Yes! You can do this from your Coffee Options page (https://www.buymeacoffee.com/coffee-options).
Thanks for the feedback, Ed!
