Cancelled Members Still Receive Emails

Currently, if you cancel/revoke someone's membership it does nothing. They can still get all your emails for new posts.
Please fix this ASAP.
I just sent out an email for a new post and a former member still received the email.
In fact, my membership count shows 12 instead of 8. It should be 8.

Solved. Thank you.

Quick update: On the second review, we couldn't find any instances of members-only posts sent to canceled members. We were able to confirm that your post on July 17th was a public post, not a members-only post.
Public posts are sent to canceled members because they technically become your free "followers". They do not however receive your membership posts.
Question -- do you not want to keep canceled members as your free follower? Thank you.

Jijo Sunny: Oh... This makes total sense now. Apologies. My bad. Thought it was a members-only post.
Jijo Sunny
David Nnacheta: No worries. Thank you for taking the time to report. 🙌

Hi David -- I just wanted to quickly update you that the team is already looking into this. Thank you for your patience!
David Nnacheta
Jijo Sunny: Is it also possible for them to truncate emails? Many members will not click on the "comment" or "like" buttons at the bottom of the email.
A member actually asked me "How do you 'like' and email?".
It would be better to truncate the emails and replace the buttons with "View New Post" or "View Updated Post".
Jijo Sunny
Got it. That makes total sense. To be clear, you do not want to show your full post on your emails, and only the excerpt?
David Nnacheta
Jijo Sunny: That's correct. Remember that the idea is to have supporters come to your page.
So, instead of giving them everything in the email, only give them up to a certain number of words.
Or let page owners decide what the "teaser text" should be. This way users can choose to share the whole post or just an excerpt.
You can close this request as resolved and look into email truncation on this request by someone else:

This is literally the reason I've been hesitant to post things. I refunded someone and I don't know if they're still going to be able to see my stuff.
David Nnacheta
Alyssa Cowan: This is another reason why it is absolutely necessary to truncate emails automatically.
Only members or supporters should be able to view full posts.
David Nnacheta
Alyssa Cowan: Hey. I made a mistake. I actually sent out a public post, so it got sent to "followers", not cancelled members.
You should be able to send out your members-only posts just fine.
Torsten Torsten
I 100%ly second that. It's embarassing for creators to send out posts to people who don't want to receive them anymore.
